Dear Mums, Dads and Carers,
On Monday 1st June, both academies partially reopened their education provision to children in Year 6 in accordance with STEP Academy Trust guidance. We are both incredibly proud of the way that our pupils, parents and staff have adapted so brilliantly to the new routines and procedures that we have had to introduce to address the principle that ‘the safety of children and staff will be our top priority’. We would also like to take this opportunity to recognise the great job that the parents of those children who are currently unable to return to school are doing in maintaining routines for home learning. Please remember that we understand that every family will be able to engage with home learning in different ways depending on their own circumstances, so do not worry about what you have been able to achieve. Finally, as we are all spending more time at home than ever before, many people nationally are feeling extra financial pressure to try and support their families. If you are finding it difficult at the moment, please do get in contact with us as we may be able to offer you some support.
